Beatriz Aizenstatat

Professional Artist

Beatriz Aizenstat communicates through her art a sense of balance between the strength and passion that define her very essence.

Beatriz was born and raised in La Paz, Bolivia. She developed her academic foundation in Israel, earning a B.A. in Textile Design from Shenkar College of Engineering & Design, one of the premier fashion and textile institutes in the world. At the time, Nova Industries awarded with the first prize in a textile design competition. After completing her studies and working freelance, Beatriz returned to South America to work as a designer at Manfuactureras de Algodón S.A. (MASA) and as a designer of textiles at Texturbol Ltd.

She continued her studies on art history and theology with renewed architect, historian, and curator Jose de Mesa, and attended various seminars on ceramics, and other crafts. Her passion seeped into the culinary world as she replaced the canvas whip a cake's surface, molded chocolate sculptures, and crated sugar delicacies.

Since 2000, she's been active in residency programs and advance wrkshops for figurative drawing, painting, and sculpting across all mediums. Beatriz has participated in shows and exhibitions throughout South Florida including:

MOFA Museum

Gallery Art, Broward art Guild and Rossetti Fin Art. Beatriz received the Meri Award, People's Choice and Judge's recognition at Rossetti's "Darkeness Exhibition" in 2011, among others.

Beatriz lives and works in Aventura, Florida.
